Default high hp on tight course

im wondering how you turbo guys get around a tight track or twisty roads. do you stay off the throttle until the straights or can you manage the power through the corners without spinning out. are turbos just for highway pulls, do you think a s/c would be better for mountain roads rather than a greddy kit? never driven a turbo car and just want to know what its all about.

I have a gt30 that kicks in with very little lag. On back country roads its really nice cause I don't have to do anywhere near the shifting that I use to. I can leave it in 3rd and just rip through the turns. I usually wait till im about out of the apex to get on the boost. I haven't really entered any turns while in boost.....at least not yet
