Default Highest torque numbers

I'm thinking of switching my supercharged s2000 to a turbo. FYI- It's a gutted roadrace car. What I'd be interested in knowing is the maximum torque people have seen at 5500rpm on up. This would help me getting out of corners the most. I would run about 8psi max, otherwise I can't cool it at the track unless I race in Alaska.

8 psi won't net you ultra high torque numbers. A GT2876R could manage some decent numbers at 8 psi though. You'll want to source the smallest turbo that will provide the HP that you need.

I make 250ft-lbs of torque pretty much consistantly from 4.5k rpms to 9k rpms

Then again I'm boosting double the amount you said.

However, when I was tuned for my 8.5psi run I was making 205 torque with a GT35R which is to inefficent at that boost level. A GT3076 or similar small turbo will have a great torque curve for such large boost.
