Default Hondata: connect PLX wb with ELD

Hi guys,

now I'm using the Hondata too

I'm very happy with the basic setup but I want to log the output of my PLXdevice wideband into the Hondata.

It says to connect the 5volt output (white) with the connector D10 (ELD). I have no ####ing clue where to find that connector D and where to cut the cable?

Can someone who did it please post a pic for me? Is this connector D one of the connectors which plugs into the Hondata or is it somewhere else?

I'm currently driving w/o a proper setup as the tuner has postponed the date for tuning onto the 24th of April. So your help is appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Andreas

PS: BTW, this is how I used my S2000 last Friday

I did this to mine this past weekend. It was pretty scary for me to start cutting into the wiring harness, but it's actually quite simple.

First off, you do NOT want D10, that isn't the ELD on our car, thats for RSXs I think. Our ELD pin is A30. As you're looking at the ecu, the A connector is the closest one to you. The wire is green and red and is on the bottom row of the connector.

Basically you just cut that wire a few inches away from the harness, to give you some slack to work with, and connect it to your wideband 0-5v analog output.

If you have trouble finding the right wire, I'll try to take a picture or something. I also found a pinout diagram online, I'd suggest a quick google search for that, can help you see what you are looking for.

Thanks Leon, indeed very generous.

It's connected now but I'm reading very lean conditions after 90 seconds on idle cold start, something like 1:18 to 1:20's.

What wideband are you using? I'm assuming you selected your model in the settings section?

I'm using a PLX and needed to give it a little bit of voltage offset to match what the wideband was actually showing on my gauge.

It makes fuel tuning a snap though.
