I can't give you any numbers on the timing. You have to log your timing while in FTL mode and then do the math. You do want it very retarded, and usually after tdc. I'm not an expert on 2 step timing, I just know the principle. The v.s. pulses can be anything you want. I put 5 and it kills it almost as soon as I launch. It's a matter of preference. BTW this is not very good for a catalytic converter, and 2 stepping a stock diff is really asking to waste money.

Ok. Got it working. It's amazing how many things setting your units to F breaks.


The closer you set IGN Adj to -20 the harder it will spool the turbo, but be careful not to overdo it. The start RPM is your launch rpm, and ign cut is red line. BE CAREFUL with ign cut. The emu is always a little off and can over rev your engine. Start around 8500 and work your way up. I know the stock red line is higher, but the emu can drive the engine through the stock cut. I wish it didn't make you use ign cut, but it does. -12 spools my greddy to about 8psi.

just for my understanding. This spooling the turbo effect by retarding the IGN is not gonna work on a supercharger, as they are belt driven, not exhaust gas driven, right?

That means leave all other settings, just turn off the IGN adj. in the start column and put IGN Adjustment to 0 degrees, right?

If you don't check the boxes it ignores the ign adj setting. 0 is cool too.
