I'm looking for a similar setup; except external wastegate and emanage ultimate (for emissions).

thanks for the thread

You might want to add a walbro to the list as well

I would just buy a used Greddy kit for under 3 grand and change the turbo to a T25 GT30 for 350whp. This would cost about 4 grand (3 grand for the used kit, 1 grand for the new turbo).

Do you need to modify anything else to fit that turbo? Does it die out up top like the greddy one?
Whats the T25 GT30?
I know I had a T25 stock on my DSM which was a mini turbo haha. I'm sure this is different though.

It fits the manifold. I'm not 100% sure on the downpipe. I thought it matched up but I could be wrong, there might be an issue with the wastegate flapper.

T25 is the size of the exhaust flange.

T25 < T3 <T4

Revenge has done the GT3076 upgrade on his Greddy kit (before moving to an Inline Pro manifold). He changed his downpipe along with the turbo, but most of the kit was kept intact.

Like the Greddy Turbo, the T25 GT3071 will be internally gated. It will spool up slower but offer better top end.

Or you can just buy my partial turbo kit and piece the rest together....

This thread might actually have some value if we knew what your budget was. What is the maximum amount that can be spent?

Otherwise, building a turbo car under $20k could be the challenge.

Well with the price being at like 5 grand is not that low anyways. Building one for under 3 would be a much better challenge.
For under 5 grand could just get a greddy turbo kit upgrade the turbo and whatever else is needed for that and have room for gauges clutch etc.

Right now for the money spent, I would say you are waaaaaay over a competitive budget.
