Default How did you mount Racepak Dash?

For those that have a Racepak dash installed, can you please post a photo of how you did it? I see some that kept the stock cluster in place but don't see how you did that cause I have no room. This is something I am looking at to fabricate but I will need to take out the stock cluster which I don't want to do.

Thank you!

I use to have a race technology dash2 pro but changed this week to a motec c125 both mounted with a custom panel. Pics below(motec one isn't finished yet and only finally got it in today, will laser some new plates out next week).

I have removed the Oem dash but pulled it apart and got the circuit board out of it, wrapped it in electrical tape and plugged it in, you then retain all functions like wipers, heated screen, interior lights etc.

Haha. I guess I'll buy that abs mold and go to town. Do you guys know if the car will run if you take out the stock cluster? My car is all stock wiring. I remember with my civic, it wouldn't charge the alternator if you disconnected the cluster.

Make sure it's straight to your line of sight as I put the race tech dash at the same angle as the Oem dash first and it made it hard to see because of that type of screen!

It's easier enough to pull your Oem dash apart and just plug the circuit board in (make sure it's wrapped up) from memory the dash does interior lights, intermittent wipers, heated rear screen, heater/radio control lights and rear fog if applicable to the USA!

Here is a new version of the mount bracket I made for the c125

Someone mentioned that I should take out the circuit board of the stock cluster, wrap it, and tuck it away? Does the car need it to operate?
