my Stock My00 block Failed 3000miles while boosted at stock Boost CTSC...Had the first cylinder scored...and it wasn't driven hard that time when it happened...than i got a New one from Honda, put the SC right from the start and its Ok...from a week ago i am on 13psi on stock CR,have a Safeguard to retard in case of Knock, using and i must say the oil seems by far the best Motul 300V 5-40w,and the failure went down on 100 miles from changing to 10-30w mobil for the first time since its a US oil and i got a hold of it here...
the Motul is the best i think when we are at oils...
so i have total now or 8000 miles boosted...
Daily driven but we are not a big of a country as you and i drive mostly in town and Center town here is 3miles away from my house...
Only boosted S2000 here...Only boosted Honda for that matter...
Had my share of troubles with the car but it works fine now and i got a 12.934 -1/4 mile few days ago at the Drag Event here with an untuned car and a lot of spinning at the start. i recon i can get 12.6 with a proper launch... i was beaten by a Impreza that pulled 12.555sec and with the bad start i started catching him before the End line..but that's it its a 402m race and i was too happy with the result...2nd place and 300$ reward?
and i don't baby the car...Wot when i get the chance...

Keep boosting...
I will post i write up once i dyno the car and i think-hope i will join the 400hp club...

My motor, in one form or another, has been turboed for about 30k miles. That was on the stock HD at 8psi for 15K, and 14.5psi for 15K with a 3mm HG.

I DD my vehicle and do at least one or two 3 gear pulls a day. When i am with my other boosted friends, its a bit more.

This is my only car, so i drive it every day. About 200 miles a week on average.

I wouldn't say that i baby my car, I don't NOT rev it because its boosted. I have raced quite a few vehicles on multi gear pulls, but i dont launch the vehicle, powershift, or do burnouts.

I do take very good care of the maintenance, and am constantly checking my motor for any possible signs of wear. This includes oil analysis, compression tests w/leak down, checking the spark plugs, the oil. I am going to try and extend my mobil one oil changes from 3K to 5K after i get the oil analysis. I also change the diff and tranny oil every 7-10K.

Got it turboed in feburary of 2007, so 6 months so far.

I DD my car during the summer, otherwise its only a weekend warrior.

I tend to drive somewhat slow. There is no reason to unleash 400+ hp on the streets 9/10 times. However, I do drive briskley depending on my mood.

~14psi DD and 18psi high boost

3mm hg installed

Regular oil

*knock on wood* block is fine

Turbo'd by IP since June 2007...so 4 months now.

It is my DD and has been since I bought it in April.

My car gets driven hard about half the time (I use the interstate a lot).

19-19.5 psi all day long

3mm HG...check

Synthetic Oil, nothing else will do. Royal Purple or Amsoil are my choices...no reason to use anything else on a turbo'd S2K.

Stock block is completely fine...it's all in the tune man.

I drive my car an average of 200 miles a week.

my car has been boosted since april 10th, 2007. installed at 27,510 miles and now have 38,090.

i have dd my car since i got it in may of 2006. i still do while boosted, but come this winter i am getting a beater car.

i take it pretty easy on the car during the week, like when i am driving to work. but when i am leaving work, if given a chance (no traffic, rural roads) i will sometimes go pretty hard on it if i am in a good mood.

my all the time boost is 15 psi. sometimes when i know i am gonna be on the freeway/expressway i will turn it up to 17

yes i have the 3mm headgasket

i use amsoil 10w-30 and i change it every 3000-3500 miles. some may say i am overly cautious, but this being my first turbo car i am not taking an chances.

so far so good with the stock block. i have not had any problems with it (knocks on wood)

My car has been boosted for around 65k miles.

My car has been a daily driver since the day it was bought (its an 01)

I dont drive the car 'hard' (no track days or anything like that), but i wouldnt say i baby it either No burnouts or powershifting anything like that...

7.5psi

7 days a week it gets driven

Stock HG

Mobil 1

Still stock block, stock head, stock HG, stock everything. The car now has 92k miles total and was boosted at 27k miles many many many years ago.

I think i have you guys beat by a longshot, LOL
