ok i'm just confusing my self and everyone else... DUDE........so thats withOUT the head gasket?? hmm...how much is the 410 hp turbo upgrade? when i was saying that if i spend 3800 bucks... get 300 whp... then do the HG, injectors and retune... well i dont know how much that would cost me extra but its GOTTA be less then 5800 bucks.. and then i would still get 350-375 WHP.

Lets just say.. i spend the 5800 bucks... put the HP kit on... i get 367 hp on stock HG. i dont know about you, but that much hp to a stock HG doesnt sound to reliable.

OR i spend 3800 bucks, install it myself, get a HG, bigger injectors and retune to around 375 WHP... and still be less than 5800... I have a peace of mind knowing i have a kit that is from a Well known company for one, a HG to which i'm safe, and i can just swap out turbos for MORE HP.. while already having the upgraded fuel components and HG.

Not saying this KIT is NOT reliable, but its too new and costs way too much at the moment. But then again, i'm sure people were saying the EXACT same thing with Greddy, Turbonetics, Mitsuturbos ect ect and they turned out great. So we'll just have to wait and see! but i'm your side.. Hope it works... thats another option to choose from... keep up the great work on the info!!!

The dyno graphs are pretty choppy imho. Not that smooth of a power band. I wonder if this is just indicative of the tune?

They said they left VTEC alone which is why it's so choppy. I'm sure that if VTEC was altered, the curve could be smoothed out.

Bumping this thread. Anyone else had any experience with this kit? (Actual experience.... not it LOOKS like this or LOOKS like that...) Any kind of warranty on the header? I am considering this for my upcoming FI project in January...

I am mainly concerned with the long runners on the header cracking... I also do not like how the turbo is just suspended like that, putting all the weight on the manifold...

Thanks again!

John

Let me know how it goes. I like the HPC coating option and the 3" tubing standard. Do they have an option for a GT3076? (is that their standard setup? Just mentions size, not model.) Also wondering what underhood temps would be with the DP and runners having to cover over 1/2 the engine bay from the turbo to the exhaust area...

Any opinion on how the welds look on the mani? Nice bead?
