Hum from Injectors
Hopefully you FI guys can help me out with this one:
I installed my S/C yesterday and it runs great, however I am running it a bit rich right now with a 7psi pulley (10.5 - 11.0 in vtec) until I can make an appointment with a professional to tune it to the correct A/F ratio.
I have stock injectors and I am using the Comptech FMU, along with the loud sound that the Paxton makes in idle, which I've heard is normal, I also hear a humming sound coming from the injectors I'm thinking this has to do with the added fuel pressure but I'm not sure. It may not even be from the injectors but that's what it seems like since it sounds like its coming from the fuel rail. Have any of you experianced the same thing? Thanks for your help.

My S/C is running stock boost with oem injectors. This is just a hunch probably wrong but the increase in psi might be causing a hum noise?

Injectors won't hum, but they will "click" or "tick". The Fuel pump used does make more noise than stock, and even more noise when the fuel level in the tank gets low.
You also may be hearing the unsilenced air filter causing a bit of a hum.
