I guess why not.....

but then again, what will you do drag this car? I mean it's never gonna achieve amazing numbers. It'll just never really hook up well. It'll be plagued with problems when it does.

Anyone who is going to swap with these motors generally calls it an lsX swap until they actually purchase the motor, then they clarify. Good use of wikipedia.
