Just buy a vette. I would and I have a 400+hp s2k.What makes an S2K is that it has a soul. You take out the engine and it is just a chassi with an engine in it. It disrups a lot of things and will run into problems. None the less its a cool Idea, but drag car...meh; this is not ive learned. You want a easy drag car, buy an 03 cobra.

well we are kind of shying away from it now.

I took measurements of the LS1 my dad has and it would just be so hard with out a lift. and i really didnt want to cut into the firewall to move the engine back. it was a cool idea, but now after looking at everything and actually crawling under the car it seems to be way to difficult and not worth it. I think i may have to concede this one.

Now i am back to trying to find a tranny that is bullett proof. i really do not want to spend 8K on a tranny. i would really like to have someone fab me up a plate so i can through an auto in there. maybe a supra auto.

I am wanting to put a bigger turbo on the car, but i have the inline pro kit. if i bought say a gt4088 would it bolt right up to the IP mani. that would be ideal. if it did i know i would still need a new downpipe.

wouldnt mind notching the frame, just dont want to have to get a tubulaqr mani, and new custom charge pipe along with a super long downpipe. if the thing will fit on the mani, i would notch the frame no problem.

I thought about that, but i do not think it is even capable of what the S motor is. not sure though. plus the cost would be ridiculous. a 2jz swap would be the way to go if i wanted 6 cylinders
