I have it as well.

The second thing- sounds like a fuel tuning problem. Step #1 is to figure out what it's doing by logging. Then save you map. If the fans cause your a/f ratio to change, log voltage, afr, and injector pulse. You should be able to calculate new battery offsets that will work better. You could also try to increase your idle speed.

I see theres quite a bit of explanation going around and it all seems pretty feasible.. but does anyone know if this does any harm to the engine in any way? from some of the responses here, it doesn't seem like it does

just had it "PUFF" on me earlier today, and I realized that during this compression surge, my boost gauge jumped up to 23psi.. any indication as to what this burst may or may not be?

Do every AEM ems user have this problem? I'll have my parts for my turbosetup in a couple of days, and it would be damn irritating if I have bought this problem when buying the AEM.

I had the big boom once, and that was after stalling the car (was still getting used to the clutch). I tried to restart it and "chug-chug-chug-chug-BOOOOOM!!! It was so freakin loud it scared the piss out of me. I felt the bang at my feet when it did it. There was a truck right behind me at the light, I'm sure it scared the hell out of him too.

Is everyone using P/H injectors with a resistor box to whom this is occurring?
Anyone using P/H with an injector driver, having same problem? AEM and saturated injectors, same problem? I have a theory, but need more input.

The Puff problem isnt that Loud when you turn your key to IGN and it happends.
Just as the other member said, his boost gouge went up to 2 bar....try stepping on the Throttle before you turn the key to IGN and see how loud the PUFF really is...
I think i read on the AEM EFI basics that the injectors spray little fuel before you crank the engine...maybe thats when the Combustion happends and the Puff appears. And there is no Rule if the motor is cold or HOT... happends random...
