Default i need my vortech tuned.

Does anyone know of a reputable tuner capable of returning a vortech/Ems setup. I just bought a SCed ap1 and I'm running mid to high 15:1. I know that's way to high and my milage is really paying for it. I'm just looking for a good recommendation within 5-6 hours from Nashville.

15.1 shouldn't be hurting your mpgs... now a 10.5 or something like that would be horrible. 14.7 is "perfect", lower is richer, higher is leaner.

way to high for a FI car. s/c's tend to need a slightly more rich afr than a turbo car. low to mid 11's is conservative for them. i'd be scared to be over 13.0 in my car.

I KNOW it's way way too high for a FI car. I was just saying it shouldn't be hurting mpgs as it's not using anymore gas than a stock one at the moment. LOL. If he was at 10.5 then he'd get like 7 mpgs.

But yeah, you need to get that fixed and do not go WOT until then.

When I said 14.7 is perfect, that means that is considered a perfect burn. I wasn't saying that's what it should be tuned for.
