Default IACV woes :(

so, been SC for about 8 months and 6k miles. everything was awesome. i added water injection about 2 months ago, and ever since, i am getting shitty idle, hi idle, and warm up idle.

i am on my second IACV. the first one just flat quit. start the car, idle at 800, no warm up idle. connect with aem ems, try to raise the idle, natta. no response from iacv at all. so i bought a used one, popped it in. bam, everything is awesome again.

month goes by and BS idle stuff starts up again. idle jumps up and down 400rpm. sounds like a ricer trying to rev his motor while backing up. on warmup, car will look like its idling right, then start bouncing around. then ussually settle down.

once warm, if behaving, it will hi idle like its suppose too, but sometimes idle just drops to 600 then comes up to 1300, then bounces. so annoying.

when idle is bouncing constantly, and i am connected to aem ems, i cant get it to stabilize at all. if i turn off idle feedback, i get closer, but its still not right. its like the IACV is stuck. if i open it all the way i can hear it open, then if i close it all the way, idle bounces for a few secs, then stalls. it should stall right away. reset the setting i reduce to 0 to get the car to stall back to where it was, start car, sometimes idles perfect again. i really think that valve is getting stuck, but i have cleaned the damn thing so many times. and could i possibly have had two fail on me so soon?

anyone else had these problems with water or meth injection? what sucks about my situation is i did buy a used IACV to replace my broken one. so i dont know if that one was perfect to begin with. i have a new one coming in to try with. but at 120 bucks each, i cant keep replacing these things constantly.

any input would be appreciated.

I dont have anything relevant to add except that its the meth causing the failure.

hmmm....could it just be that your jetting too much water and its not misting but getting too thick and ruining the IAC?
