AEM 1052 EMS Start up Issues
Just had a tune today... car made 340whp on a dynojet..
comptech supercharger 3.2" Pulley boosting 10psi, 900cc fic injectors, stock map sensor..
the car runs fine when moving. however idle is a bit rough, sometimes fluctuating as if the IACV is bad... but the main issue is, sometimes, idle will drop so low, i would stall out when clutched down or shift to neutral to coast..
start up is very difficult also, sometimes takes 2-3 even 4 times to start holding the button 5 seconds each time.. sometimes right after it starts ,it'll die out...
my tuner saids its a AEM thing, and it seems like he may be right however it also seems as if some users have better luck... any suggestions of how i can fix the start up and idle problem?...
like i said, when running, the car runs and drives great.. its just sometimes at idle and start up...

look at the parameter stat syncd. when starting the car should fire up as soon as you see that go "ON" If it does not then you have a tuner issue.
Idle control is either a bad iac or tuner issue, not an "AEM thing" at all

The starting up is an AEM thing. It takes 2-3 seconds before the AEM will even attempt to start the car. Typically I wait for the fuel pump to fully prime, and then try to start it, and it starts immediately.
