....which single exhaust system would you use to compliment your supercharged setup. i just got my s/c installed today and my installer told me that if i had an exhaust that flowed better (over stock) i would have more power.

Exhaust doesn't have much of an impact until you get above 350 rwhp.
I've seen S2000s putting out way beyond 400 rwhp with the factory exhaust.
They could have done better but still it gets the point across.
Show us your dyno and numbers. How much boost are you seeing?

What you felt is called NOISE and VIBRATION, not necessarily power.

I'm not saying you didn't make more power, just that butt dyno's are notorious for telling you what you want to believe.

If it's more power you want, then spend the cash on a high-boost pulley and on tuning...it's a much bigger bang for your buck...

just to add to the confusion...

I had a stock comptech system (with a car back) on my car then threw on a header, test pipe....felt nothing but sounded great...

280ish hp on a mustnag dyno...

today I put on what turns out to be a 10lb pulley injectors and an ems unit and had it tuned....(need a new fuel pump it turns out....) anyway now im at

353 hp at 8500 rpm on a dynopack....guess what I felt....

uhh it was smoother.....more mid but its so smooth it feels about as fast..as it used to be...
..butt dyno.....i bet its a lot faster in the quarter though...

I would have to say that a $300 header and a $1000 header arent any different on the old butt dyno.....1-8 hp is nothing...espically on the street.....

find a exhaust that you like the sound of and call it a day....

just my 2 cents....
