I hope someone has some insight. This is my car that Mike is talking about.

I've had the Comptech kit on the car for 4+ years with no major issues. The hesitation/popping started after the K-Pro install (we also did a 12lb. pulley and ID 725cc injectors at the same time). With the added boost my IAT's were running really high (180-195 during hard pulls) so we thought that might be the issue. We ended up scrapping the Aftercooler in favor of a Front Mount (we also installed an Alaniz PnP head and a S.O.S. 3 bar Map sensor at the same time). My IAT's dropped significantly but still no change with the high RPM hesitation.

To date we have also tried:
3 different coil packs (Okada, AP1, AP2)
3 different plugs (iridium, copper)
1 other K-Pro (thanks Kevo!)

On top of that we have also tried grounding the battery to a different location in the engine bay, grounding the head, grounding the valve cover, and grounding the ECU.

We're running out of ideas so anything will help!!

I had a similar problem.
It ended up being something very stupid for me..

After I pulled the comptech esm when I was supercharged I soldered the wires back together, but had a bad solder joint in the wiring (which was for the map sensor). It would surge, dump fuel and bog any time I started to go into boost, but jiggle the wires down by the foot area and it would magically go away.

Well yesterday I checked the wires that the ESM were tapped into, stripped back the sheathing and put solder over the wires. Still no change....popping/power loss around 7000 rpm's.

Any other ideas??
