Default Injector Dynamics - Cleaning/Flow Testing

I just couldn't let this go without telling you guys. I've had some fueling issues as of late that I didn't believe to be injector related, but just to ease my mind I decided to send my ID1000's back to T1 Race Development to have them cleaned and flow tested.

I called them a few weeks ago and immediately spoke to Andrew Campbell who remained my contact throughout the whole process. He explained how the process worked and followed up with a comprehensive email that made the process painless.

I sent my injectors out UPS Ground and received notification from UPS that they arrived at the ID facility in Arizona at 1:32 PM EST today. Less than 3 hours later I received an email from another ID service member at that facility letting me know that they had received my injectors. Then at 6:19 PM EST I received the completed flow test results from Andrew with a follow-up phone call a few minutes later.

He explained the results in detail, going over what their criteria are for matching injectors before selling them as a set, as well as criteria for "passing" flow testing. He made recommendations for my fuel setup based on the information at hand, and covered everything in a manner that I could easily understand. I was able to pay over the phone, and he was going to call the guys in AZ to get my injectors out via UPS Ground before the end of the day. Amazing.

So in less than 6 hours, my injectors arrived, were processed, cleaned, and flow tested, then sent back out the door. You can't get any better than that. And for $60 to boot. Plus the excellent customer service and constant contact that they maintained with me during the entire process. I honestly couldn't be happier with this experience with them.

Just wanted to pass along the good review, and to show why ID's are easily worth the money.

So you thought there might be something wrong with your injectors? You got them tested and they were fine. So what was your fueling problem?

I wanted to rule out the injectors. Andrew said that besides the 3 msec pulse width, they are as good as new. And even at the 3 msec pulse width they still pass their requirements for flow testing used injectors. I've always thought my pump was causing my issues; just waiting on a new pump to arrive.

I called ID for new o-rings for my injectors. I loved the experience as well. They had them to me in less than 3 days. It was more to ship than it was for the actual o-rings.

I had a very similar experience with Andrew and checking my 2200's. The customer service is top notch!

I've ran 2 sets of their 1000's and I'm now running 2 sets of their 2000's. Great product, great service, knowledgable and awesome to deal with. The product repeats and is consistent race after race after race with no failures.

I wish more people would post up their positive reviews of companies like this instead of primarily negative. There are still some really good products and companies out there and they deserve the recognition.
