Yeah, after yours and Kevin's success I thought I might try it.

I am waiting to hear from Asura first before making my decision about his new intermediate pipe that should help with the resonance.

its funny u mention this, i was looking at the other guy's dyno that did the mase kit and then looking at yours. your race gas tune and his pump gas tune are close. theres some midrange you gave up, but not as much as i woulda thought with u being log mani. what would be nice is you could get yoru race tune power on pump gas. tahts where i saw the big diffrence, your pump tune and his pump tune really show you the mani difference.

the other guy had a built block, but your running a 3mm HG so its similiar results still. on the positive side also, you could do a race gas tune to near 700 rofl.

yeah, DO IT! mase will tune that bitch to perfection.
I am trying to get Mase to send my Huy's dyno file so that I can overlay them to see the real difference.

I am looking for 550 on pump at 16-18PSI so I am going to have to pull out all the stops to make it happen.

What did not work during your tune, something with the ingnition system?

Your numbers seem real good but why do you want to be at 16-18 psi vs say 20's. Is it easier on the engine to run less PSI or is it HP dependent. So is 18 psi at 400 safer than 16 psi 500 hp or is it the opposite?

Could you run like E85, run a bocsh inline and retune?

Just a couple questions

The ignition system is not operating as anticipated, the spark was not as intense as it should be. I believe I have to rewire the system with a few capacitors and isolated grounds. As with everything else on this car this has been an iterative process and will take some time to figure out all the do's and don’ts.

I want to keep the tune conservative so I am keeping the intake pressures below 18 PSI much more than that and a bad tank could allow detonation. From what I have seen 95% of all the engine failures are due to detonation/preignition or over reving. So I am not to worried about high torque breaking anything until I start seeing closer to the 600WHP/350-375 FTLB of torque.

Right now with the turbo and manifold restriction the EGT's are very high. The below graph was not of peak temperatures but this gives you an idea. I have to do more testing to find out why there is such a large spread in temperatures then I can start to modify the individual injector trims.

I like the idea of E85 but there are no stations near me with it and a crusing distance of only 150-175miles it is not worth it. If I decied I cannot make enough on pump gas with a tubular manifold then I go back to my Meth plans.

250º That is a huge difference in temperatures there...

I am going to have an intake fabbed up for my car over the next week or so. I will let you guys know how it goes. It seem that you get a fair amount of hot air down by the WG area. Also my filter is just clamped onto the turbo, I don't want it to melt, I have a 4" inlet so I am no loger using that little piece of pipe.

I am also getting a supra PVC value installed.

Looks like the only way the intake will work is to not have the oil filter relocation kit.

Supra?????? Why buy crap from a crap car, just get the $3 dollar one I posted and make it easy on yourself it fits right in the PCV hose.

LOL

I think the fitting was 3/8 and I bought it at Lowes.
I bought six fittings and that one was the best.
