Inline Pro Kit - AEM 1052 Issue
Still haven't gotten the overheating down yet. It seems that the the resovoir was missing the inner tube and wasn't allowing the coolant to be sucked back in to the radiator. He filled it back up and installed the hose and now he's monitoring the temperature untill we have time to take it to the tuner. No compression or leakdown done yet. The car is actually running good. Hasn't turned off once since the stock ECU was reinstalled. The tuner said to stay out of boost so it doesn't lean out. It's a bad week since there are Races this weekend at Palm Beach and all shops are pretty busy.
It sounds like it has to be getting flooded with fuel if its cutting out like that, not to mention the self explanatory gas mileage. I drove my car easy as hell untuned for a few miles and the gas mileage was rediculous. It sputtered badly and WOULD cut off at a stop light if I didnt keep the idle at atleast 1300-1500. Please buy a wideband immediately. Thats one of the top things on the list for a turbo car and it will save your ass in any case of a fuel problem. Do you have/NEED a resistor box and what are the injectors, RC650s?
The wideband is already on order. The injectors are 650's but not sure if they are RC's. Have to check on that. This problem will definately be resolved by the end of next week. It's just a matter of getting it to the mechanic.
