Thumbs up inline pro turbo kit

I was looking at the inline pro kit dyno and it said around 440 whp at 18psi...Is this with the stock kit? Seems like a lot of gains for such a cheap price...

That's with the addition of a 3mm headgasket to drop the compression.

if it produces 440whp for 6grand..why does everyone get lovefab which only gets 307whp for 7gs?

The inline pro kit comes with no ems or injectors.

Another thing- I highly doubt that kit makes 440rwhp safely.

The dyno chart is slightly misleading. From what I gathered from my visit to their shop, the results shown are not with an AEM EMS. However, they are now going to push that all of their kits come with the EMS. So the price differential is going to lessen between the InlinePro and the Lovefab. Lovefab is still a higher quality kit.

With the InlinePro, you have to pay EXTRA for a ball bearing turbo, EXTRA for a good manifold (the one with the kit is a POS compared to a Lovefab Sidewinder), EXTRA for an oil filter relocator, and EMS isnt standard.

I did get a chance to ride and drive their test car. At the time, it was running on an AEM EMS with a moderate tune in the 450 whp range. The only other modification was an aftermarket clutch, and drag slicks out back. All I can say is...damn. A power to weight ratio similar to a Ferrari Enzo.

I'd still go Lovefab. No question.

I had over 500 hp on a stock motor with the inline kit and it was safe.

You had over 500whp on the kit that is listed on their site? I'm guessing you had to have at least EMS among other things. I was referring to the stock kit that is available as a direct bolt on (the one with the fmu)

Actually, from what I've seen, Inline Pro has some of the best cast manifolds on the market. I would run their manifolds over a log style manifold any day of the week. I'm not sure how they would compare with a tubular manifold with a good collector.

Ball bearing turbos are nice, but turbine and compressor design are MUCH more important than ball bearings and MANY very high performance turbos are still journal bearing. There are benefits to both.

Lots of people rag on Inline Pro, but it is a good kit worth serious consideration. Cody (Lovefab) also makes an excellent kit. There are many great choices out there. Your best bet is to research them for yourself, call the manufacturers, and find a local shop who can help support you if there are any issues. This is a HUGE purchase. Make sure that you choose the kit that best suits YOUR needs.
