InlinePro Kit thread and topics
Here are a few tips I found while installing
.) Cut the intercooler piping so that you don't have to take the front end off each time you need to work on anythingin the engine bay. This also makes it much easier to install.
.) Move the Heater hoses (Just cut the braket at the first bend and redrit a hole to mount in the original position.
.)Add a flex joint to the downpipe (I also had to add an O2 bung b/c the placment made the O2 hit the transmission.
.) Add a bracket to the DP when the factory bracket was.
.) Move the Reciever/Dryer back to accomodate the intercooler w/o cutting the grill
.) Make a braket for the Coolant over flow
.) Buy Tbolts instaed of the Worm Drives that are provided
.) Get rid ofthe 45deg filter adapter and get a Dryflow to bolt directly to the turbo (The fit is much better and I am not a fan of K&N or oiled filters after using a dry flow)
.) Insulate the oil feed and oil return from the hot side
.) Add blanket to keep things cool
.) Weld on so intercooler Brakets
.) Gasket match the manifold as many of the castings are off
.) Use studs on the wastegate and dumptube with lock nuts to prevent it from coming loose
.) Buy a turbo to manifold and turbo to downpipe gasket (Not included with kit)
.) Get a set of ARP Studs to help support the manifold
.) Use studes reather than bolts on the DP to turbo flange to make install MUCH easier
.) Wrap the Dump Tube to ensure your heater core lines don't melt
.) After cutting the fender braces cut some vacuum hose and line the area you cut with it to preventthe intercooler lines from rubbing
.) Relocate the AC Lines so that they are not on top of the wastegate
