I recently purchased their Stage 2 sidewinder, the welds and fabrication of the manifold APPEAR to be top notch. As for customer service I haven't dealt with them so I have no input on that topic.

Was this manifold braced? I remember reading something about it needing a brace to the engine block or something to prevent cracks due to the turbo weighing down on the end.

My experience with them has been lacking.....

Thats all I will say.
im pretty sure youre being a lot nicer than i would be. your whole stage 2 kit seems to fit like shit, and youve had to modify quite a bit.

Just send the mani to them for $150. I see them honering a mani repair over a clutch as they are two very different animals. Get your kit up and running and have fun.

Did it crack at the wastegate flange? I know the earlier manifolds used a thinner flange and they had some issues with them. If thats the case I see no reason why they will not replace or repair it for free.

If it cracked somewhere else id hate to be a dick but it probably is install error because the manifold is rock solid even without a brace. Does the exhaust have a flex section? Is the downpipe/ exhaust and wastegate free and away from hitting anything?

For some reason the area around the WG seems to be very prone to cracking. I had a problem with this recently and started bracing the dump tube to the downpipe.I think this has something to do with engine harmonics and heat. I have fixed manifolds that other people have built and it doesnt seem to be a weld issue. The material can crack.

If you don't want stuff to crack you do. Unless the motor is solid mounted, or on a motor plate.
