I highly recomend a flex section in the exhaust. Better to have it closer to the turbo too.

DFW: you have the newest manifold design and it was replaced under warranty right before you got it so you should have no issues regardless.

I thinks it's strange for everyone to jump on the bashing bandwagon considering all the support IP has given this forum.

does the exhaust have to have a flex section?
The best way to do it is have the DP bolted to the tranny flange and a flex section at the end of the DP like I do.

Hello,

Sorry it took a while for me to get involved in this thread. I am looking at the clutch which was sold to you by a 3rd party shop. I do not know who installed it, but the splines were destroyed.

The twin-disc you receieved is by Competition Clutch. There is no way a single plate system from the same company is better than THEIR own twin-disc. Also, I was waiting on the 3rd party shop to contact as far as the clutch is concerned. It is still sittng here. To me, it looks like the dowels were missing or wasn't aligned right. That is the ONLY time I've seen splines get mangled up the way this one was. This warranty claim is not up to inlinePRO but up to Competition Clutch.

As far as the manifold, this is the first I have heard of it. Yes, if you can get it to me, it will be repaired or replaced depending on inspection of the manifold. Please let me know if you want to send it in, so I can have my guys keep an eye out for the shipment.

Ya

And on a side note. inlinePRO is not gonig anywhere, nor is John Lee selling the company. I am not sure how or why the rumor even got started.

I have seen the splines destroyed on clutches because the installer left out the bearing that goes in the flywheel.
