innovative engine mounts
So i installed a set of 75A innovative mounts when i swapped my motor as my stock mounts have imploded a long while ago. i went with the 75A becasue i read the reveiws of the mounts sagging and what not and the 75A vibration being "not so bad" and to be honest i thought the mounts ruined the car. 4 months later driving with these mounts i found a set of 60A's locally for a good deal so i decided to change them and at first i thought that i would just change the driver's side mount and see if the vibration got better and it did but not a significant ammount so being lazy and at the same time thinking that a stiffer mount on the heavy passenger side of the car with the engine leaning that way and the turbo stuff being there would resist sagging i left the 75A mount on on that side and changed the trans mount to the 60A and i started the car and what do you know!? the car is quieter and so much smoother!! the hood and dash board doesnt vibrate at idle and at 3000rpm it doenst feel like the car is going to fall appart! i took the car off the lift and took it for a spin and it feels great!
One question would be could i have just changed the trans mount back to stock and more or less the same thing would have happened? i've read about people changing the trans mount back to stock but they didnt really say if it helped with the vibration...
in any case innovative should offer the mounts this way.

Put the 75a's back. 4 months is too short. I have them already for 3 years now and the exxessive vibration GOES AWAY after a break in time. I honestly cannot tell if i have them in my car when running idle. No shaking/vibrating dash or whatsoever... but still have that fantastic direct shifting/power transition!
I believe the 60a are too weak and are prone to fail/melt i heared.
Try the 75a for a couple of months and get some mileage! They WILL get ALOT smoother!

I've been telling people for a while that motor mounts ruin the car, but most people have to experience it for themselves before they take heed. I recommend going back to ALL stock mounts and leaving them alone unless you have to.

The 60A are just BAD, they are way too soft and WILL tear/break... Do a search here.. No reason to put mounts on the car that are worse than OEM. the 75A are the best.. Just give them some break in time! The direct shifting/responsiveness of the engine with those is GREAT!
