I will be adding the SoS GT3582R kit to my 01 later this year. With COVID, kit delivery times are over 8 months! I ordered mine in Jan and I'm hopeful for an Aug 1 delivery. Question - At the time I install the kit I am also going to be updating my diff and axles. Given the low down torque, do you think a 3.7 or a 3.9 diff would be ideal for this kit? No track days for me - weekend warrior and events - so a fair amount of highway driving.

I was thinking of adding a more robust oil pan that adds an extra quart of oil capacity, that adds a bung for oil temp sensor, and a bung for the turbo oil return. Specifically, the Canton Racing Products 15-966 Honda F Series S2000 Baffled oil pan. Is anyone using this oil pan with the kit or see an issue with adding it?

If you haven't already, I'd review this thread:

I'd stay away from the Canton oil pain.

I'm considering going down to somewhere around the 3.7 final drive on mine when I upgrade my diff. There is plenty of low end torque now with this kit and no need to be sitting at 4k rpms on the highway all the time, so I don't see a downside to it.
