What is that where the small exhaust ports go around the head to the large port that most cap off?

'Secondary air injection system' and thats a check valve on the stock manifold back there to control the injection that being pumped in from the air pump. Its not recirculating exhaust gas back into the intake system like an egr valve does, its just pumping in clean air into the exhaust stream on engine start to help heat and burn off emissions wile the cat is still cold and not functioning in its optimum heat range to do its job.

 

hows the lag?

 

Not sure yet, haven't run it but I'd say minimal lag and able to pull to the top without choking out. It's what LJ recommended. If I do have issues at the top though and lag isn't bad, I'll go to the next biggest and if issues are still at the top, I'll switch back to a single and go with a .82 more than likely.

 

what did you do with ur dump tubes.. i just got a fullrace mani...

 

Haven't gotten that far yet either but that pic that was recently posted in the other thread is probably how I would do it.
