I have a Garrett gt3040 that will make those numbers. Give Jeremy a call at UMS if you want some info on it and let me know if you're interested.

A Garrett GT3040 (aka GT3082R) will be out of breath around 600whp, with using a GT35R compressor wheel and a GT30R turbine wheel, the smaller turbine can't keep up with the bigger compressor and dies out around that range....

Just to claify what you said, its not that it can't keep in in RPM's.....its that the GT30 turbine wheel can't keep up in flow, meaning it becomes a restriction.....an exhaust restriction. The GT30 turbine is just to small to flow the kind of CFM the 35R compressor wheel pushes. Its like running a 1.5" exhaust pipe out the car. While the 35R compressor wheel on paper can flow enough CFM to hit 600 hp, it just can't do it with that kind of restriciton on the exhaust side.

sorry for the extremely bad pictures, i will have more later, was in a rush to get the motor back in lol, and the flash made the motor/car look a LOT dirtier than it really is.....
here are some brake tuck pics
