AusS200, here it the link for the APS ZO6 twin turbo:

http://www.airpowersystems.com.au/corvette/z06.htm

copec, my engine is 2.0L and I plan to set the rev limiter to 9300 rpm.

This morning I applied power (electric) to the car for the first time and I discovered my first two glitches. The Defi oil pressure gauge is dead. All the other gauges light up, but not the oil pressure. So it looks like I'll be spending some more money on a new one. The second glitch is when I pushed the starter button, nothing happend. So I'll spend the day trying to track down what I missed putting this back together. All the fuses are ok so I suspect I forgot a ground somewhere. I had the starter button out when I modded the dash, so maybe I didn't seat the connector on the back. I hope thats not it because I don't want to take the dash out again.

More later.

If you put the same focus on the Z06 as you do with the s2000, I wouldn't doubt you could hit 1000 hp.

I'm hoping you break the 600 whp with your new setup

Well, I figured out why the started button did nothing. With the new clutch I installed, the clutch pedal wasn't going down far enough to activate the clutch interlock switch. So that problem is solved. As far as the Defi oil pressure gauge goes, I don't know what happened to it. It worked before I ripped the car appart, but its kaput now. Some homotrons must have gotten into it. So a new one is on order now. More money into the S2000 sink hole.

PS - I just put a deposit on a 2008 ZO6.
If you don't mind me asking, what did you end up paying for it? I priced one out online, and the MSRP was ~$75K. However, I know that dealerships are getting a premium for them. If I end up buying one, I will go through a local credit union which is able to get it for MSRP.

GM hasn't listed the price for the '08 yet. But my contract says that I will pay MSRP. I'm buying it from Kerbeck in NJ. Will pick it up at the Corvette museum in Bowling Green.

You can find deals on the '07. People are getting $3K off MSRP.

Latest update. Not a lot to add, but what I have is very exciting to me. Today I precharged the Accusump with 1-1/2 quart of oil, turned the ignition key on and prelubed the engine for its first start. Pushed the start button and it started right up. It was a little loud since I don't have the exhaust hooked up yet, but it idled just fine. And this was on my last engines EMS map. So progress has been made.
