The holes you circled in red are for the fuel injectors. On that same picture the water injection jets will go where the three brass and one chrome plugs are where the plenum mates up to the TB's.

so very sweet,
can't wait to see what this produces, too bad no before/after dyno to see exactly what the itb's will do
The new engine I'm putting together is almost identical to the one it is replacing. Since I have dyno's for that engine, it should give a good comparison.
Nothing really went wrong with it. The pistons are Ross, which was a bad choice. The aluminum alloy they are made of has a high expansion rate so when they are installed, you have to allow for this. As a result there is a lot of piston slap until they warm up. I quickly grew tired of this. Since I had my original engine sitting arround, I decided to have Laskey Racing build it up for me and now my engine VIN number will match the body. I'll replace the pistons in the engine that came out with CP's and it will become my spare.
And are you still using the original FRM sleeves? Are the CPs a better match to te FRM sleeves?
I've heard that to use conventional pistons in FRM sleeves you need to allow greater tolerances and this results in noise. Has anyone found a compatible piston yet?
Its been a while since I posted, so I thought I would give an update. Progress has been slow, but I'm getting close to pushing the start button. I've only run into one hick-up so far; I forgot to spec a bung on the intake for the IAT sensor. So I've ordered an AEM sensor snd will mount it in the charge piping right after the intercooler. This is a better location anyway, because it will not get heat soaked by the engine. Other than that, the engine is ready for its first start and tuning. I still have to put together the water/meth injection system, but that will go fast. Today I finally located a nice spot for the pump. Here are some more pictures:
This is what the engine looks like now. As soon as I get the IAT in I'll get the clamps on.
