ITB Turbo Part 2

Very nice Fred. When I thought it couldn't be upped anymore you go and re-invent the wheel. Sorry to see you leave the DFW area, give us a ring if you're ever back in town. I'm just waiting to see a 1000 whp Z06 since you're obviously in the business of more than doubling the car's original hp

Some further thoughts on the project. If I were to do this build over again I would make the following changes or additions:
1. Add an external fuel pump to maintain the fuel flow up to 25 psi of boost.
2. Add another water/meth injection jet on the inlet to the turbo to improve its efficiency.
Given these two items I'm sure I would break into the 600+whp catagory on 92 octane pump gas.
Not only was I running out of fuel pressure, but it looks like the GT35R was running out of steam. There is a lot of research that shows that a cooling spray into the inlet of the turbo can expand its efficiency map by 10 to 15 %.

AWESOME Fred. Sorry I couldn't make it over to watch the tuning or hook up with you and Russ for dinner. Did a number on my Back on Sunday. BAD. Still barely getting around, and chocker block full of Vicodin.
Nice numbers. I hope you keep the S2K around when you get the Z06. Afterall, it takes a Sawzall to make the Z06 a droptop. You might as well keep the S2K around.
