It doesn't. That'll defeat the purpose of ITBS.

Probably more effort than it's really worth. It would introduce a new level of complexity to an FI setup and and would be wildly unnecessary. There may be some power to be gained, but ITBs are more beneficial in an NA setup where you are looking to improve intake efficiency since you are having to suck air into the cylinders vs FI where you are forcing it in.

Why spend another grand or two when you can just up the boost? I'm sure you'll show gains with a proper itb/boost setup, but at what pricetag? A properly built turbo setup can get you into the 700hp range pretty easy, so why bother.

There are some OEM cars that come with ITB's and Turbos so I'm sure turbos don't defeat the purpose of ITB's. Costly, though
