Slight correction there. Honda was the highest horsepower per liter NORMALLY ASPIRATED in a production car.

That record has just been eclipsed by Ferrari and the 458 Italia.
Hondas 118.5 HP/L for $33k > Ferrari 124.7 HP/L for $230,675. I'll stick with my Honda

Carburetor is an atomization/emulsion machine. An injection system is a proper air to fuel delivery ratio machine. Two different concepts.
Actually two methods of adding a measured amount of fuel to air. Certainly EFI (electronic fuel injection) is better but it is simply an evolution of the same concept.

BUT, it has NOTHING to do with whether a car is FI (forced induction) or NA (normally aspirated).

I repeat: When the F20C was released it was the highest output per litre of a NORMALLY ASPIRATED (no turbo or supercharger) engine in a production car. There were turbo engines in production cars with a higher output per liter and there still are.
