Carburetor is an atomization/emulsion machine. An injection system is a proper air to fuel delivery ratio machine. Two different concepts.
BUT, it has NOTHING to do with whether a car is FI (forced induction) or NA (normally aspirated).
I repeat: When the F20C was released it was the highest output per litre of a NORMALLY ASPIRATED (no turbo or supercharger) engine in a production car. There were turbo engines in production cars with a higher output per liter and there still are.
