I'm glad to hear that, with the sea of problems that always gets posted, someone has a trouble-free setup. You just never hear about it on public forums, you never hear "UPDATE: My car has been trouble-free for 30,000 supercharged miles!"
Maybe someone should make a "everything is fine with my FI S2000" megathread.
just wondering...quick question....when u buys a comptech supercharger with ac....you dont have to take it to the dyno do u......its plug and play rite?
^^^ perhaps you should as there were reports of some people running lean with the aftercooler.....if anything the dyno is for checking that your a/f ratio is okay.......
I don't understand why the A/C would make you run any leaner. Unless maybe the lower amount of boost adversly effects the pressure supplied by the fmu.

If you cool air it has the same mass but less pressure. As the FPR relies on pressure to add fuel it won't add as much fuel for the same mass of air. Lean city.
But the FPR runs it pretty rich under boost, so although it is leaner, it is still rich, and as it is cooler it is also safer.
leaner and safer in the same sentence? damn. I am not worried about it I am going to get my emanage tuned next week and I still have my uego to keep an eye on things. It runs fine on the top end like 12-12.5 but out of boost it is pretty rich. that is what I want to get tuned. I didn't want to use the Comptech FPR becuase of my cruise control custom bracket that is in place because of my Cusco Catch can. see pic below.
That would never work. So I went ahead with the AEM FPR and cranked it up so I would stay safe in boost and I will have to deal with rich low end until tuning. Plus I am dropping some 550cc injectors in to have room to grow. I eventually will put AEM EMS in but didn't have the change to shell out 1500$ plus a lot more hours on the dyno than with the emanage. When I get my new job in the spring. (and if my new business takes off this fall WE OPENED TODAY!!! my nerves are still racked). Then I am gonna fly Sean out from portland and lease a dyno in atl for a day to set the AEM up. I already wish I had gone turbo with this new love fab craze going around but I will play with this for a while and see were I am next year.
