Thumbs up K&N Filter on the Greddy Kit?

Hey can we just swap out the sponge filter for a K&N Cone filter without any type of modification, and if anyone has done it, does it sound louder? (the sucking of the air). My kit has only been on for 4,000 or so miles, but looks dirty, which I guess means its doing its job, but ya know.........

yes, a filter is a filter.

just make sure it fits the piping size - you dont want there to be any openins for dirt and crap to get into your turbo!

in terms of volume, i doubt there will be any major difference.

I have a K&N on my car. I hated the way the greddy one looks. Works perfectly fine, no added noise, or sugar.
