Since it's not a 40 year old OEM gear and diff you shouldn't break it. Anything can happen on a dragstrip though. If you are using a stock trans, expect 2nd gear to be short lived.


(I keep thinking of a F20C swap in a 64 Barracuda)

yeah that's what I was thinking. The tranny will probably go first and this is my second tranny.

LOL you mean putting engine, tranny and rear in a Barracuda?

would be hilarious to open up the engine bay and try and search for the tiny 4 cylinder in there.
