1. Lower the fluid in the rear as I was told (with finger bent down inside of fill hole, fluid should be at the tip of your finger
(I find this a pita, as I have to fill, check, fill, check.)
2. Bought a fitting for the vent with a screen at the end. The side with the screen gets bolted into the rear. This will somewhat slow down fluid coming into the line. Will still allow fluid to go back down into the rear.
3. Bought a Moroso breather tank and installed it in the trunk. Since the trunk is the highest place that i thought of mounting the line in, then if there is fluid backup it will go in trunk. But with the breather/catch tank, it will hold fluid and drain back down as needed. Also, having the can allows for air to just burp into the can and breathe out and therefore allowing oil back down.
(The zip ties and the rags are all hi performance )
So far i ran the car on jackstands for about 15 min at 70MPH and there was no fluid that I could see, well not that I could see through the can anyway Neither did I feel the fittings start to get hot.
Tomorrow is the real test on the street though when i drive it longer while breaking it in.
and Kyle, I dont think you are logged in to the site just like if you try to reply not logged in but the site won't let you as you have to be signed in. But here is the pic in that link plus some others i had taken.
Honda rear weighs about 76 lb. This thing weighs about 109 lb
axles are about the same weight as stock except the spline count is now 34 as opposed to Honda 28
very nice setup. i don't see any reason why the catchcan idea shouldn't work. you could probably even fill the diff the way you normally do with no worries.

exactly my thought. I mean if that can fills up, then Ill have to mount a second fuel tank as backup reservoir
As an update, drove the car for 20 minutes at 70mph, then checked the breather can and there was no hint of fluid in there.
Let it cool down for 20 min, then drove again for 20 min and rechecked and nothing.
Not sure which one of the 3 mentioned did the trick but as long as it works.
I'll keep breaking in the rear till about 1,000K miles and then let it rip after that and see how well it holds.
