Kenne Bell Boost A Pump
I am pretty much set on giving the boost a pump a try. How does everyone like theres? Is it reliable? Can one set something up incase of failure? Will it cook the pump or heat the fuel up on long pulls?
Also if anyone has any pictures or advise on install. That would be much
appreciated. Sorry for all the questions.

Everything I have read has said they are amazing products. Try giving Evans Tuning a call, the owner is extremely nice and I trust his advice. I think he sells them.
I used mine, and it didn't see 5% on my 642whp pull, but that was more for insurance than anything.
I'd suggest it for the price, as opposed to a full out $1,000 dollar fuel system.

He does not sell them, but runs one on his own vehicle.

I have been debating on installing mine (it's been in the box for a year now) but I don't think I will need it. I was only shooting for +/- 600WHP with my ID1000's and Walbro 255LPH.

The input voltage should not make any difference to the output voltage. The thing that should change the output should be the dial and if it does not have a great enough current supply. The reason I asked about the 5% is that if the base is 12V then you are only going to see 12.6V at the pump. However if they start at 14V then you will see 14.7V and the difference in flowrate will be substantial.
Now if I am worried why don't I just install it? Well there is (2) reasons, I am trying to find the true limits of the factory components. I am really sick of hearing that I have to have part x, y & z to find out that x & y are not needed after all. That and I am trying to live by TrboKev's rule "Keep it Simple Stupid (Scott)", so the more factory components I can keep the better off I am.
I was debating on raising my base pressure in order to obtain better fuel atomization but I was worried that the pulse width would be too small with the 1000CC injectors. I was debating on raising it to 55 PSI which should not be a problem as I doubt I will run more than 25PSI of boost which with my 1:1 regulator would only be 80PSI.

I've had a walboro fail me at 80 psi I was normal driving luckily just cruising on the highway. Put the stock pump in and bam started up and ran like a champ. I'm keeping my base fuel pressure at 43.5psi
