If you read te thread i didnt front $15.000 i paid $5k for a used engine which was junk the first time it was started. They(Kings Performance)were good enough to rebuild it free of charge. It then came back to me built to the same spec as their $12.000 built engine(their words not mine).

That engine turned out to be junk with re used det damaged pistons.

The $15.000 then some is what i initially paid plus paying somebody to remove the first incarnatin engine, and a complete set of all internal components and to pay for somebody to take out the second incarnation engine rebuild it and refit it.

CommonsSense is trying to get a decent car out of the $100.000 plus ive spent on the car. Before anybody starts to disect how ive spent so much on a S2000 the gearbox alone with Geartronics was in the region of $25.000.

Im not after sympathy,im just stating things how they are.A lot of money has been spent over a long period of time and the thing that lets the car down is the engine.

One engine swap should have done the job but due to shoddy/bad engine work its going to be 5 engine swaps.

The reason i have to repeat myself time and again is because people dont read the whole thread, read one page then post stupid unqualfied comments based on a couple of posts.

Ive heard Kings wont ship out to the uk anymore....if nothing else its saved a few people over here getting shafted by a greedy under performing/shoddy company who will sell stuff all day but dont stand by their products.

You think common sense is spending $100k on an s2000, or spending $25k for gearbox, on an s2000? You are learning the hard way, which is what happens to people without common sense. Money != Common Sense.

Ok whatever, you think my s2000 is the only $100.000 S2000 in the UK?think again buddy.By the time our greedy government has had its cut we pay twice as much for parts than you do.You don't realise how cheap your parts are.

I have to agree with you about common sense,I lost control and it went out of the window in pursuit of getting what I consider the best(for me)s2 I could put together.

We all make silly decisions mate. The most important thing is you have your health.
I took $6000 cash overseas with me and one night got drunk, brought a chick home and in the morning my safe was open and the $6000 was GONE!

So mate just put it down to one of life's journeys and learn from your mistake of trusting others.
Hope you recover to 100% mate.

I know yours isn't the only one. Johnny Tran had $100k under his hood, and he was able to smoke Jesse's Jetta, but we know what happened to him at the end...

And tell me, since you have the best S2 (for you), how's the boost treating you?
