ROFL. That should be good enough for at least three high priced escorts in Vegas for a few hours.

CommonsSense is trying to get a decent car out of the $100.000 plus ive spent on the car. Before anybody starts to disect how ive spent so much on a S2000 the gearbox alone with Geartronics was in the region of $25.000.
You think common sense is spending $100k on an s2000, or spending $25k for gearbox, on an s2000? You are learning the hard way, which is what happens to people without common sense. Money != Common Sense.

What's wrong with building a race car?

I love the idea of making more and more power for the thrill of it. But if you want to use it the only place is the drag strip. For the road you need progressive boost controllers (probably do on the strip as well). If you have a boost controller, then you have a horsepower controller, so you are not making the 7-8-900 hp anyway, not even close. Have you seen all those Youtube video's of supercars that get away from the driver just on acceleration, a quick fishtail and straight in the ditch. Our S2's are the most famous'fishtailers' of all time even standard. High hp S2's are just plain scary on the street. I would still look forward to ride in it though.

Actually its not too bad,the good thing is i can floor it and keep it floored whilst the geartronics just allow me to change gear in a fraction of a second without lifting off the power.
