It is sat not being used, cant afford to have the engine rebuilt at the moment.Ive just had 6 months off work recovering from an opperation. But at the moment its at Daytona Daves having the Js rear arches fitted so ive got room for the Volks racing Te37sl's.

That last bit i needed to write in green crayon to give Umair at least half a chance to understand it.....with cartoon style pictures to show exactly what im talking about.

Forgot to add i need to put a smiley face and a picture of a rubber chicken so he doesnt feel intimidated and its within his comfort zone.

If I spent 15 thousand dollars on a complete motor I would expect absolute perfection.

I would NEVER put up $15k of my hard earned money on something I couldn't see and test out first hand that's within a few hours driving distance from me, regardless of anyone's reputation. That's a huge risk that I would never take. That seems like common sense to me, but who am I judge...

Actually, why kid myself? I like making of fun people who do stupid isht, so let's keep this thread going now since we have something good to talk about, common sense.

Wow, $15K for an engine rebuild. i haven't read the whole thread, but that sounds crazy. I could see myself paying about $8k at most with a engine rebuild (stroker kit), ported head, new valve train, oil pump, gasket kit, timing chain and guides, and shipping.

Well it's no different to someone purchasing a Spoon motor from Japan. You have certain levels of trust in a reputable company. I would expect it to be 100% spot on, especially if it was $15,000.

Is it? You think Kings as equivalent to Spoon as a company? Not that it matters to me since I still wouldn't do it if the companies were switched.
