Default Kings performance stage 1 or inline pro stage 2 street kit

Hi guys,

I am after your valued experienced opinion on which option you would go for and why.

The reason why I am posting only these two kits up is because I own an RHD MY2000 s2k, and the are perfect for the range of power I am after between 4-500WHP, as well as budget, given that KP's package still requires EMS and fuel management, they are approx the same.

I am after reliability and longevity as well as ease of installation of the kit.

I understand that KP uses the precision branded turbos vs IP's chioice of Borg Warner, and have come accross a few threads that have had issues with the precision turbos.

I also prefer the look of IP's kit over KP's, however KP's kit does not require any fabrication to the exhaust flange as I was informed.

Finally, what are your thoughts on the rear end options available on both kits. Ie KP's Ford 8.8 diff kit (which I would be asking them to supply the diff) vs IP's R200 diff conversion for my power goals. If needed, I will purchase either of these together with the entire kit to save on postage.

IMO, both are excellent reputable companies, and having been in contact with both, have the best customer service I have experienced in a while.

Thanks s2ki community!

Boost first, worry about the rear end later. There is also Puddymod rear ends (I think he's still doing them). Might better fit your budget. KP would be the way to go in my opinion, and do yourself a favor and save the extra few hundred to get their stage two kit if it will fit. Or Trackforged claims their turbo kit works with RHD s2000's as well. You're going to want an equal length manifold, especially if you're beefing up the rear end to hold power. Horsepower is a drug, always going to want more, so do it right the first time. A log manifold will require a lot more effort to hit those big numbers.

I have the kp stage 2 manifold and a Borg Warner turbo. They will make the manifold for whatever turbo you want. I say go either the Fullblown 8.8 rear end kit(that's the kit kp sells). It's actually fb kit. The r200 I have read about it failing over and over. I have yet to hear anything bad about the fb 8.8 other then the axels not fitting properly at first.

An inline pro manifold and 3 inch downpipe will go into a rhd car.The log mani that kings offer doesnt look to me like it will fit,but what do I know.

Be careful what you buy because your options are limited with rhd cars.Ive got a inline pro mani, 6266 precision turbo and 3 inch down pipe supplied by Fernando @ kings and it fits.....just.Also I needed mine to look tidy which with a little work I think it does.

Make sure that fullblown have got their act together with driveshaft shop before you part with your money for the 8.8 kit.

Thanks for that, I will be scratching the R200 option off my list then!
