Default Knock sensor

Hi all,

I killed my knock sensor by accident... when I tried to pull the plug, half of the sensor came along.

My question is: does the aem series 2 ecu use the oem knock sensor? (do I have to buy a new one?)

Thanks!
Jasper

Yes the aem does look for the knock sensor and it's what detect your knock whole tuning. I order mine off ebay and it works just fine when the car is na and now boost.

I ordered a knock sensor off rockauto.com for super cheap. I think the listed brand was SMP. It came in a "genuine Honda parts" bag and worked perfectly
