Default Knock Sensor Voltage?

AEM EMS User.... think I'm finding something kinda funky.

Can anyone give the voltage they're getting at cruising speed and while on the throttle hard please?

have spiked to 1.3 volts sometimes at WOT but have the J&S to retard tha Cylinder knocking..
I asked mase what was that all about and if i should be worried about sometimes knocking like that and he said that i shouldnt worry that, that 3v is serious knock and 1.3v is acceptable..
this is sometimes lets say 10% of WOT and its not knocking all the time just at some Revs..
Anyway i would liket to know what other more expirienced members think..
Since i am not an expert at all.

One of the supercharged guys added race gas and logged knock a while back. On his setup, there was up to 4V just from noise while in VTEC.

Realistically, anything less than 1.5-2V below VTEC is probably not knock. Look for consistently low readings. Occasional, large spikes tend to be knock. Once you get above VTEC, the knock voltage seems to increase dramatically even if you're not having knock.

You need to log it on for a baseline with a conservative timing map and the highest octane fuel you can find. Anything above your base line will be a knock. A turbo's noise signature is going to be different than a Centrifugal SC's noise.

Good info all,

I get up to 1.5V and an instantaneous 1.9V even but it'll do that prior to being in a situation that it should be knocking so I'll ignore. I was just curious to see how much other's picked up.

I have seen 1.5 Volt as the highest with a bad tuning but water injection helping to prevent detonation.

That's normally on good european gas, so minimum 98 oktan, sometimes even 100 oktan.

BTW, currently just water injected, no methanol.
