Default KPro Full Throttle Shift

I've been pouring over the ECU pinouts and I'm pretty sure the clutch switch isn't wired to the ECU. I don't want to pioneer this if I don't have to...has anyone set this up and care to share their install?

The stock trans doesn't like to be full throttle shifted. You can try it, I did, with no luck.

I would wait to set that up until you have a dog box, or a trans that is better suited for full throttle shifting.

Just my 2 cents.

Were you just plain no lift shifting or using the AEM FTS feature?

I know how to do it, I was just wondering if anyone had done it already so it could cut down on some of my research and development time. The available inputs in the KManager software are not easily implemented because the RSX ECU inputs don't directly line up with the S2k ECU pinouts. I'm going to have to depin and repin a few wires around to get this to work.

Its the exact same thing as hard shifting, you just save time this way by not having to pull your foot off the gas.

For reference, I think a lot of people get this feature confused with conventional full throttle shifting. The conventional method will let the motor stay on the limiter during the gear shift instead of letting the RPM's drop like a normal shift. With FTS setup correctly, the RPM's will still drop (to your desired RPM) when you push the clutch like a normal shift, but you can still have the throttle down 100% so there is no potential lag time when the next gear engages. You can also set it up to use the 2 step settings to help keep the turbo spooled between shifts.

You should be quicker on the deals he offers you. I heard he shipped out that low mileage transmission today.
