Default kraftwerks install question

Hello everyone, just had a couple questions. I recently purchased the kraftwerks kit with tuning not too long ago. I'm putting the finishing touches installing the kit today but just had a couple questions. I was just wondering if the base map tune is already loaded into the aem or do I have to install it myself? I've tried contacting kraftwerks in regards to this but haven't had any luck getting a response. If anyone could shine some light on this it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

if you have a map similar to the mods your car has, then you might be able to at least cruise it to the tuner without issues.
new ecu or used ecu, you should still get a re-tune with the car with its current mods.
