Thumbs up Meth Injection and tune

When I install my AEM Meth Injection kit, can I use it prior to tuning?, wont it just cool the air dramatically prior to combustion? I will take it to get tuned for more tweaking but will I do damage to run it prior to tuning? <-------how is it metered initially?

Sorry I can't help. I went to jail the last time I messed with meth.

... couldn't resist. Anyway, I want to see your numbers after the install. Might consider and injection kit after the turbo install.

Yes, it's just there as an additional safety for knock prevention.

If you go for proper tuning, get me an answer on the following question:

What is stochiometric on a 90%gasoline/5% water/5% meth setup? It shouldn't be 1:14.7 anymore, it should be higher, but how high?

Pretty easy to understand....

"Yes, its just there as an additional safety for knock prevention."

Yes, you can run it without tuning.

stoich is 14.7...he wants to know (you should ask your tuner when you bring it in to tune) what stoich would be with the added meth.

I think it may run a little richer with the meth if you don't tune...am I correct?

It's really not that bad, but I would tune it. The meth adds no power to the mixture, and reduces det. Tune it, why risk it?

you won't make any power if its not tuned. You will probably lose some power if your spraying alot of fuel and your tune doesnt remove some fuel as well. If you ran a very small spray, just enough to drop the IAT's, you might be able to run it without tuning.
