Wow, today was a big day. I've been pissing and moaning for a year or so about how long it's taking KW to get a kit out for my car. I call them every payday to try to place my order. No stalking, just a gentle reminder that my fistful of dollars is there. Well, today they took my order. Tony says two weeks, and I am sooo stoked. Boosted at last. Yes.
Glad to hear.

That is good news. I'm looking forward to the AP1 tuning solution they have. Did you get a high boost kit?
Yes, I got the high boost kit. I live about 5 miles from InlinePro, so I had them install a Competition Clutch, Stage III last month, so I'm all set for a high-boost kit.

The kit cost, to include $150 shipping, was $6045. That's a little over the AP2 price, but there's a Walbro pump, an eManage Ultimate and some kind of adapter (wiring dongle?) included that Tony said cost them an extra $1000 total, so that's not too bad. I think that's a sale price, so I wouldn't be shocked to see it go up. After waiting a year and four months I'd probably have paid more; I'm just happy I stuck it out, instead of wasting my money on a sailboat or on airplane upgrades (thanks, Marcos!).

Speaking of Walbros, can someone save me the searching and cussing and post a link to info on changing the fuel pump? If so, TIA.

I just got back from a 2500 mile trip to the dragon.

The car run flawlessly and did not even use a drop of oil/coolant.

MugenAP2 (NA) and TJR (NA) did the whole drive with me, and I was always within 1 MPG of what they were getting. I averaged 25 MPG @ 85-100 MPH all the way. On the dragon itself, I got 16 MPG; but we had a lot of fun

Very happy with how the car performed, from sealevel to about 6k feet the car always pulled very strong.

Only bad part of the trip was that someone in front of me picked up a tire rethread and smashed my mirror/headlight ... could have been worst ..

Has anyone noticed that the prices for KW's AP1 kits are now posted? I think I got a deal by buying as early as possible. $6045 delivered didn't last, and as I understand it, they have a backlog of buyers.

They said they would offer a 10% reduction for the AP1 kits just like they did for the AP2 kits when they first came out.

Well, if that's the case then, I'm getting screwed, since $6295 x 90% = $5665.50, and they're charging me $6045. Either way, though, I'm finally getting boosted! My car will have torque!

Are there any ap1 owners with a kit on their car?

I have never heard of any ap1 guys commenting on this kit. Anyone?

S2KHabitat was one of the beta testers for the AP1 kit, and was very pleased. I'm trying not to call and yell, "Has it shipped yet? Has it shipped yet? Has it shipped yet?"

I am just waiting till they finalize the kit before i give my review. Overall i am happy i think this kit loves the higher redline of the AP1. If you have any question feel free to PM me.
