Just checking after a trip from Houston to New Jersey and return. That's already about 5000 miles on the new Rotrex blower with KW stock 100mm pulley -- and includes some test and tune time at the track. If anything, the Rotrex is quieter than before, and like Joaquin's <R1_Pilot>'s, my fuel mileage is pretty phenomenal given the speeds and acceleration demands. I am very happy with this kit and the level of performance it gives the S. Not many cars out there without substantial engine mods can keep up with it for sure -- the car that is -- no claims for the driver. . Most people do not believe the car has a supercharger after listening to it idle. It is very stealthy. I'm going to the track again on May 22nd. I have been logging Rotrex fluid temps on hot laps, just fmi to track the temps using the Kraftwerks stock Hi Boost set up with no enhanced Rotrex oil cooling mods. The highest temp I have recorded so far is 162F inside the reservoir, right off the track after 30 min max runs. That's a lot higher than I have recorded with normal high speed interstate driving, but safely within the Rotrex specified range.

BTW, my friend and fellow Houston KW kit owner, <Slambo>, and I are going to be running at Button Willow, CA on June 6, and at Laguna Seca with the PCA on the 8th. Hope to see some of you guys there!

Well, if that's the case then, I'm getting screwed, since $6295 x 90% = $5665.50, and they're charging me $6045. Either way, though, I'm finally getting boosted! My car will have torque!
Here is a PM OJR sent to me last year!

I wanted to ask if you will still offer the 10% early pre order discount for us humble AP1 folks...

Thanks OJR

I don't think the 10% would be off the "Spring Sale" price. The regular price is $6695. 10% off of that would be $6025.50. Sounds pretty close to the deal PowerPro got.

My last look at a Shine/ASM copy didn't look like there would be a issue. The shine bumper is shaped more like the AP2 than the AP1, and the KW intercooler and piping fits both.

I also want to here about the AP1/Ap2v1 kit. Since they are using Emanage, does it come preprogrammed with a good safe base tune, or do you have to limp straight to a local tuner to get up into the 360 whp mark?

Another question... Would if you already have an emanage and walbro fuel pump? I wonder if you shipped in your emanage they would load the proper tune into it? That should be a pretty significant savings.

I have a little over 10,000 miles on my High Boost Kit since November. It has made many 700+ mile trips up north, a few autocrosses, and it is my daily driver. I have been very impressed with the fuel economy. I still get about 27 or 28 mpg on the interstate. Could not be more pleased with the kit!
