I've got that idea, haven't done much research yet, though. If feasible, I'm thinking it would be great for the track, and have an extra kick for the strip.

yeah im thinking about it too. a 30-50 shot would come in handy in those "emergency situations" lol

yeah i would actually want to know the same thing lookinco. But i think i would go with a wet or direct port over a dry kit.

The reason for the dry kit is because the Kpro is in control of the fuel injector, so I am able to tune the K-pro to supply enough fuel for the nitrous.

I will for sure direct port a nitrous nozzle for each cylinder though!

ooo sweet good idea. i was thinking about going with a direct port and geting the car tuned with a EMU. im just wondering if a 30-50 shot would be safe on the engine in addition to the Supercharger alrdy.

I guess the only way to find out is to try it out, and make sure all the air fuel, EGT, oil temp etc are all in check.

Considering people with turbos are running 500whp+ with stock engine and just a thicker head gasket, I would think the high boost kit (350~380whp) plus a 50 to 75 shot "SHOULD" be safe.

I would actually be more worried about the diff and axles. A progressive nitrous controller should make the nitrous engagement much smoother and produce less shock to the drivetrain.

the problem would be in the tuning. with the EMU and the FIC as your only options on a DBW car i'd be hesitant to 'double up' on two different types of major power adders - but thats just me.

it would be hard to have the EMU hide certain things from the ecu while the ecu is tuned to see things that are aftermarket anyway. i wonder if the hondata flash for the kw kit allows the ecu to see boost, or if it hides it? that would likely be a HUGE concern with nitrous in my opinion. nitrous tunes typically advance timing (i think?) and boosted tunes tend to up the fuel while retarding timing.

sounds like a very thin line to balance out, but i honestly dont know much about n2o.

hey mike,

nitrous tunes retard timing. they say on a stock s2000 anything over a 75 shot requires you to retard timing.
